An AMFED delegation participated in the first regional consultation on strategic philanthropy in Dubai in January 2008, organized by the John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy and Civic Engagement, and hosted by the Mohamed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Foundation. AMFED assisted in conducting a media seminar on ‘Establishing the Media as an Effective Partner in the Promotion of Strategic Philanthropy.’
