AMFED is organizing a capacity-building workshop for junior Arab media journalists and practitioners in cooperation with The Arab Press Federation and Al Ahram Press Institute. The theme of the workshop is "Media and Human Rights in Arab Societies" and will take place from June 1-2, 2009, in Cairo, Egypt on the Arab Press Federation premises.
The first sub-regional consultation for the Dialogue for Development Regional Approach Initiative will be held at the end of June in Amman, Jordan. The theme of the consultation is "CSR in support of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)" and it will cover all countries in the Mashreq region. |
